Clean, fresh, inviting, Gård Vintners' 2006 Dry Riesling will delight your palate with lively fruit-forward hints of melons, stone fruits, citrus, green apple and honey, and balanced acidity with a crisp finish. Barrel fermented, neutral oak. This wine is ready to drink now, but will hold well for several years.
We channeled the pure, completely dry style of the great Rieslings of Alsace in producing this enjoyable white wine that services as a lovely complement to poultry, fish and seafood, as well as Asian and Southwestern inspired dishes.
Our Riesling grapes are the product of our estate vineyard, Lawrence Vineyards, on the scenic Frenchman Hills of Washington's Columbia Valley.
We take as much care in growing the grapes as we do in producing the wine, and we hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoyed making it.

This 100% Estate Riesling from the Lawrence Vineyard comes from the high elevation, south-facing slope of the Frenchman Hills. The fruit was hand picked at peak maturity, gently whole cluster pressed, neutral oak fermented, and aged sur lees for seven months prior to bottling. The wine is a layered gem, rich and generous -- possessing weight and depth, with hints of fresh melons, stone fruits, citrus, green apple and honey with undertones of leesy caramel and lush minerality. This dry style Riesling (0.4%) captures the purity of fruit with a balance of racy acidity. This wine will continue to develop for years to come.
